Cheap Text Books and Other Books

Here are some ways to save on books and music!

  • Purchase books and music at second-hand and used book stores.  Search your Yellow Pages for Books - Used to find a store near you. You can find the Goodwill store nearest to where you live by going to this link

  • If you are a college student, find cheap college text books for sale at this link.

  • Did you know that college professors are more than happy to give away free college text books that publishers send them?  Publishers bombard college instructors with free review copies that end up cluttering their office.  They are more than happy to donate these to needy students - just give respective instructors or departments a call to see if they have what you need.  Also, the books they have may serve as a great reference even if they are not by the author required for a course.

  • To find cheap high school text books, enter the ISBN number at this link to see if any are available.

  • If homeschooling, plan your curriculum so you can pass down materials to younger children.  Also, purchase workbooks in advance for younger children so they will match the current edition text. Utilize Free Online Educational Resources and Homeschooling Resources.
